(1) As shown in the diagram, points A. B and C are on the circumference of a circle with center "O" which is also on the line AB. The radius of the circle is 2.5". Line segment CB measures 4" and ∠COB measures 106o. What is the area of the ΔABC?
(2) Rich purchased 4 cartons of candies. Each carton contains 18 boxes and each box contains 33 candies. If he gives one-sixth of the candies to 2 classes, each containing 11 children, how many candies would each child get?
(3) a + 2b = -7 and a - b = 5. Find a + b.
(4) In a town, 33% of the population are female. They are formed into groups of 275 members for a healthcare camp. If the total population of the village is 62,500, how many groups of females will be formed?
