SHSAT Sept/Oct Prep Subject knowledge enrichment - Comprehension of various styles of questions - Effective answering strategies - Lots of practice. This intensive program consists of well-structured classroom test prep sessions of 3 hours each. In each session, the students study and solve typical SHSAT-style problems in Verbal and Math sections. They receive valuable guidance and tips in understanding and answering scrambled paragraphs, logical reasoning, reading and math questions. Smart answering and effective ballparking strategies are discussed and practiced during the course. Subject topics (such as algebra, fractions, percentages, etc.,) are reviewed and re-visited to reinforce the basics and concepts. The students are particularly trained to complete and review the test within the given time. The course also administers 10 full-length diagnostic practice tests in SHSAT style to assess and improve score levels. Test-prep materials include specially-prepared exercises with illustrations and step-by-step workouts, sample questions & answers and practice tests.

Course Schedule SHSAT Sept/Oct Prep in Flushing Center starts: Friday - September 10, 2010 Fridays - 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm; Saturdays - 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm; Sundays - 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm. (Total - 20 sessions). Fee: $900 only. Full-length practice tests: 10. Practice exercises in math and verbal sections: Over 1,000 math questions, 200 scrambled paragraphs, logical reasoning and reading paragraphs! Courseware In addition to standard books, PrepMate uses specially-developed, illustrated practice tests, sample solutions, classroom exercises, pop quizzes and home assignments.
